FLASHBACK – George Soros: The money behind the transgender movement

Three years ago, a Supreme Court ruling paved the way for gay marriage.

After it, the mainstream media had one question: What was next for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender movement? They had, after all, won the big fight. In addition, many corporations had adopted policies barring discrimination based on sexual orientation, and two of America’s most watched shows at the time “Modern Family” and “Glee” featured openly gay characters.

“I really do believe [the Supreme Court ruling] is the domino that is going to tip over the rest of the dominoes,” Wilson Cruz, an LGBT activist, told CNN at the time. “Do not get in the way of this train, because it will run you over.”

To ensure things ran full-steam ahead, billionaire George Soros, through his Foundation to Promote Open Society, dedicated at least $2.7 million to the cause that year, according to his tax returns.

Some Republicans at the time mistakenly thought the LGBT movement had reached its pinnacle, that the culture wars had ended. They thought the party could now focus on fiscal concerns, which weren’t nearly as divisive.

But that was foolish — the LGBTmovement was just getting fired up, and Soros-affiliated groups were already plotting their next prize.

It took two-plus years, but seemingly out of nowhere to many conservatives, the transgender bathroom debate exploded this summer after North Carolina legislators passed a bill that required people to use bathrooms matching their sex assigned at birth. The Justice Department intervened, calling such a law a violation of the Civil Rights Act, and the media went wild — it was their new civil rights movement.

It was a debate that had been percolating at the state level for years.

So what made North Carolina the tipping point? Well-funded LGBT organizers had success in California, giving them a blueprint to work in other states, and it’s an election year. North Carolina is a battleground state with presidential implications, and liberals love fighting the cultural wars. It was President Obama who lit the match, after all.

Soros “Seeking to Influence” European Elections – Hungarian Official

George Soros “is again seeking to influence the European Parliamentary elections”, the communications director of ruling Fidesz told Hungarian public media on Tuesday, adding that the US financier was backing “pro-migration forces.”

Balazs Hidveghi spoke in reaction to a meeting between Soros and Frans Timmermans, vice-president of the European Commission, and said that the talks reflected that “Brussels is irrevocably in Soros’ pocket.”

Hidveghi insisted that Timmermans is a “notorious pro-migration politician” who has “regular talks with Soros behind closed doors”, while his spokesperson “would not answer questions about the talks.”

Soros NGO Driven Out of Turkey

Liberal billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations NGO will close up shop in Turkey, saying “groundless claims and speculation” have hindered its work.

The organization announced the news on Monday, days after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Soros of stoking protests to divide the country, referring to the elderly liberal financier as that “famous Hungarian Jew Soros.”

Erdogan accused Soros of controlling Turkish opposition figure Osman Kavala, himself accused of financing and organizing anti-government demonstrations in 2013, and being linked to a failed coup attempt in 2016. Kavala is an advisory board member of OSF.

Over a dozen people linked to Kavala were arrested last week, as Erdogan’s crackdown on anyone suspected of involvement with the coup continues.

In a statement released Monday, an Open Society Foundations spokesman refuted Erdogan’s claims. The organization described Erdogan’s apparent attempts to link Soros with protests in 2013 as “not new and untrue,” and said that Erdogan’s “groundless claims and speculation” have “made it impossible” to continue its activities.

A prominent backer of liberal causes worldwide, Soros’ activities have seen him repeatedly draw the ire of nationalists and the right wing. OSF ended its operations in Soros’ native Hungary earlier this year, after Prime Minister Viktor Orban slammed the tycoon for meddling in the nation’s affairs.

After OSF closed its doors in Hungary, the country’s parliament approved the ‘Stop Soros’ law, a piece of legislation introduced by Orban’s Fidesz party that criminalized aid workers and organizations suspected of “enabling illegal immigration.” Liberalizing immigration and border controls has long been one of Soros’ goals, hence the law’s name.

The Open Society Foundations project was started in 1979, with the first non-US foundation opening in Hungary in 1984. The group currently has annual expenditures of over $940 million, operates in over 100 countries across the globe, with 26 national and regional foundations and offices.

Soros Foundation Takes Aim at Facebook

The head of billionaire George Soros’ foundation called for congressional oversight of Facebook, after the social media giant finally took some responsibility for hiring a PR firm to smear its critics as agents of Soros.

“So @facebook decides to drop a turkey on Thanksgiving eve, with admission that Definers was tasked by company leadership to target and smear George Soros because he publicly criticized their out of control business model. Sorry, but this needs independent, congressional oversight,” Open Society Foundations head Patrick Gaspard tweeted on Wednesday night.

Gaspard was responding to an admission by Facebook’s outgoing Head of Communications and Policy Elliot Schrage, who owned up top hiring a PR firm – Washington, DC-based Definers – to attack Facebook’s critics and label them agents of Soros, a billionaire and prominent liberal donor.

In a blog post, Schrage admitted that he tasked Definers with pushing the Soros angle, namely that the billionaire was funding the activist group ‘Freedom from Facebook.’

After learning that Soros did in fact fund some of the group’s members, Schrage said Definers “prepared documents and distributed these to the press to show that this was not simply a spontaneous grassroots movement.” Schrage maintained that Facebook did not ask Definers to create ‘fake news,’ despite a former employee telling NBC that Definers had its own “in-house fake news shop” to spread its message.

The relationship was revealed in an explosive New York Times report last week that accused Facebook’s senior leadership of mismanaging a multitude of scandals, from ‘Russian interference’ in the 2016 election to the Cambridge Analytica privacy debacle earlier this year.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg both denied any knowledge of the company’s hiring of Definers, despite an official statement describing the relationship between Facebook and Definers as “well known in the media.”

Soros’ associates have been relentless in calling for change at Facebook, even since before the New York Times’ story broke. In January, Soros himself called Facebook and other Silicon Valley tech “monopolies” a “menace” to society whose “days are numbered.” Last week, Michael Vachon, an adviser to the chair at Soros Fund Management, called on Facebook to undertake an audit of all of its lobbying and PR relationships.

Nor were they buying Zuckerberg’s protestations of innocence.

“I find it hard to believe that one would go after someone like George Soros…without some clearance at the highest levels,” Gaspard told CNN on Tuesday night.

Zuckerberg appears to be holding firm, though. In his own interview with CNN on Tuesday, the 34-year-old CEO issued his trademark style of meandering, deflective denial when host Laurie Segall asked if he knew anything about the affair.

“Well…uhh…I learned about this when I read the report as well…I don’t think this point was about a specific PR firm, it was about how we act. That’s why I think it’s not just important what we’re doing with this one firm, but that we go through and look at all of the different PR firms and folks we work with,” Zuckerberg replied.

After spending much of the year apologizing for one privacy screw-up after another, Zuckerberg is once again back in the spotlight. Despite falling stock prices, shareholder moves to oust him, and now Soros’ wealth and influence pushing against him, Zuckerberg was defiant.

Asked whether he’d ever step down as Facebook’s chairman – Zuckerberg is both chairman and CEO of the company – he replied “that’s not the plan.”

“There are certainly going to be issues that we need to work through over time,” Zuckerberg continued. “But I think that while we are doing that, we can’t lose sight of all of the really positive things that are happening here as well.”

LaRouche, Soros, and the New York Times: A Strange Séance on 43rd Street

The flailing New York Times attempted, frantically, to reassemble George Soros into something resembling a respectable person in its November 1st edition. The made-up claims and artifices used by the Gray Lady in this respect would tickle Edgar Allen Poe who chronicled such an effort in his short story, “The Man Who Was All Used Up.” If you know Poe’s story, he encounters a pile of clothing and artificial limbs lying on the floor which begins speaking to him. A man then slowly assembles himself using all artificial parts. As is typical of this newspaper, the actual George Soros is nowhere to be found in the article.

The Times describes Soros’ fanatical drive to turn the United States into an opium den as “drug reform.” His disgusting crusade which looted Russia and subverted its intelligentsia on behalf of the City of London is described as “service” on behalf of the United States. His currency speculations which also destroyed whole countries are described as “intriguing” investment decisions. The Times goes out of its way to mischaracterize Soros’ confessed adolescent role under the Nazis, working under forged identity papers in his native Hungary, to confiscate the property of his fellow Jews. In a CBS 60 Minutes interview about this perfidy,Soros admitted it, and stated that he had no guilt or regrets. Had he not acted in this way somebody else would have, he said. The experience formed his character. The Times’ only reference to this well-known but inconvenient reality is to state that Soros lived under the Nazis as a “Christian.” But, what can you expect from a newspaper which openly praised Adolph Hitler in his early incarnations?

The central purpose of the Times piece is name calling: pinning an anti-Semitic label on those who think Soros is evil, particularly President Donald Trump. The fact that Soros is funding British spy Christopher Steele’s post-FBI existence, and the fact of Soros’ continued direction, participation, and funding of the regime change operation against the President including many of the operations of RESIST, of course, have nothing to do with Trump’s dislike of George and are never mentioned to the reader. In this exercise, the Times also omits the Israeli government’s recent characterization of George Soros. While condemning recent anti-Semitic incidents in Hungary, the Israeli Foreign Ministry emphasized that its statement was not “meant to delegitimize criticism of George Soros, who continuously undermines Israel’s democratically elected governments by funding organizations that defame the Jewish state and seek to deny it the right to defend itself.” Finally, the Times asserts that all of the facts now in circulation about George Soros are attributable to Lyndon LaRouche and unnamed Eastern European tyrants. They link to the New York Times coverage of LaRouche’s criminal conviction. But even the footnote to that linked article makes clear that the Grey Lady can’t even do straight news coverage of a court case when it comes to their bete noire, Lyndon LaRouche. As the corrective footnote explains, LaRouche was not convicted of substantive fraud charges, like the Times article about that event asserted. Rather, the footnote explains, LaRouche was convicted of a broad conspiracy. In truth, this was exactly the same type of Klein conspiracy Robert Mueller is now using against the Russians he indicted for an alleged small bore social media campaign in 2016. Klein conspiracies are famously abusive uses of the conspiracy laws which allow prosecutors to cheat and convict people of made up crimes.

The Times’ futile reconstruction effort of course fails, miserably. Soros is, simply, a man who is all used up. The stuff people recount about him is provably and devastatingly true. The only error made by his detractors is to believe he has any kind of power anymore. He only has his money and such fame as comes from being a thoroughly British project –an aging and overused hitman for the failing City of London.

5 Explosives Sent to Clinton, Obama, CNN, Holder and Soros Are Linked, Sources Say

  • Officials are investigating a series of apparent explosive devices sent to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, George Soros, CNN and Eric Holder

  • Five parcels had a return address linking to a high-profile Democratic party member; at least one of them also had a white powder envelope

  • The flurry of incidents come less than 48 hours after bomb was planted in mailbox at billionaire philanthropist Soros’ NY home

Five “potential explosive devices” sent to Hillary Clinton, former President Obama, billionaire George Soros, ex-Attorney General Eric Holder and CNN at NYC’s Time Warner Center are thought to be linked, law enforcement sources say — and officials are looking into whether one addressed to California Rep. Maxine Waters in Washington, D.C., has a similar signature.

Two of the five devices — one addressed to Clinton’s Chappaqua home, one to Obama in Washington, D.C. — were intercepted by the U.S. Secret Service. Both were discovered at off-site locations and neither the former secretary of state nor former president were ever at risk, officials said.

Another of the packages — one addressed to ex-CIA chief John Brennan, now an MSNBC contributor — that appeared similar to the others forced an evacuation of CNN at the Time Warner Center Wednesday. NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill said the device appeared to be a “live explosive.” He also said there was an envelope with white powder in the original packaging; that powder is being tested. Mayor de Blasio said there are no additional credible threats.

It was at that briefing that Gov. Cuomo revealed his Manhattan office had received a similar package, which law enforcement later determined was not at all linked to the others. A senior law enforcement official told News 4 the item was a threatening letter, not a device, that referenced the Proud Boys street brawl from earlier this month. There was no explosive, the official said. A second official confirmed no device was mailed to the governor’s office.

A Cuomo spokesman later issued a statement saying the item appeared to contain computer files on the Proud Boys.

Also Wednesday afternoon, congressional leadership sources confirmed to NBC News that a suspicious device intercepted at a mail processing facility for the U.S. Capitol was addressed to Waters. That device’s nature, and possible connection to the others, remains under investigation.

Law enforcement officials say all of the five linked parcels — those addressed to Clinton, Obama, Soros, Brennan and Holder — had a manila outer packaging and the devices had stamps on them. The devices appear to be working explosives, sources say, but final analysis is pending further testing. News 4 obtained an image of one of the devices; it appeared to be crude.

The signature is nearly the same on those five packages and all listed the return address as one belonging to ex-Democratic National Committee chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. There is no suggestion Schultz had any involvement, law enforcement officials say. A device was also found at her Sunrise, Florida, office, which was the return address listed.

Investigators believe that was the package addressed to Holder; it appears it may have had the wrong address, which is why it was shipped back to the nominal sender (Schultz’s return address).

An officer with the local police department in Florida where Schultz’s office is located said the package had been removed by early afternoon and the bomb squad was “rendering it safe.” He declined to say whether a live explosive had been in the package and warned, “There may be noise, there may not be noise.”

4 Suspicious Package Incidents

Within three days, apparent explosive devices were detected in the mail addressed to Democratic politicians Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, billionaire philanthropist George Soros and the New York City offices of CNN. No one was hurt and investigators are working to determine if the incidents are all linked.

Soros-Backed Operative Fired Over Alleged Attack on GOP Staffer

The liberal group American Bridge 21st Century announced Wednesday night that it had fired one of its operatives a day after he was arrested and accused of battery against the female campaign manager for Nevada GOP gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt.

In a statement, American Bridge said that Mike Stark had been relieved of his duties “effective immediately.”

American Bridge was founded in November 2010 by David Brock, who also founded liberal watchdog group Media Matters. The group’s largest donor is liberal billionaire George Soros, who contributed more than $2 million between 2015 and 2016. Soros is still involved with the group, most recently donating $300,000 in February, and $80,000 last year.

Coincidence? Soros Invests in Tech Giants Months Before Infowars Banned

The firm of globalist billionaire George Soros invested millions in several tech giants just months before they underwent a coordinated purge of Infowars and Alex Jones.

“Soros Fund Management invested in major tech and social media companies in the second quarter,” Fox Business reported Wednesday.

“The family office of billionaire investor George Soros added stakes in Apple, Facebook and Twitter, while reducing stakes in Amazon and Google’s parent company, Alphabet.”

The notorious Nazi collaborator isn’t the only billionaire with a renewed interest in Big Tech.

“Berkshire Hathaway chairman Warren Buffett revealed in a regulatory filing earlier this month that his firm bought billions of dollars of additional Apple stock in its most recent quarter,” Silicon Valley Business Journal reported.

Last week, Apple, Facebook, YouTube [Google], and Spotify all inexplicably banned Infowars from their platforms, with many others following suit days after, justified under the weak guise of flagging “hate speech.”

Additionally, Twitter suspended both Alex Jones’ and the Infowars twitter accounts this week for appealing to President Trump to take action on online censorship.

Is it a coincidence these same companies blacklisted Infowars – the sworn enemy of Soros – after the globalist kingpin got involved with them?

Hungary’s ‘Stop Soros’ bill suggests jail time for those who help migrants

Earlier this month, Soros’ Open Society Foundation announced it would leave Hungary and relocate to Germany.

“The government of Hungary has denigrated and misrepresented our work,” the foundation’s president Patrick Gaspard said at the time.

An earlier version of the “Stop Soros” bill proposed a 25 percent tax on foreign donations to groups that encourage migration, a detail that was removed in the latest draft.

But the Hungarian government also suggested this week that the constitution be amended to say “foreign populations cannot be settled in Hungary.” The government also wants to refuse asylum for migrants who reach Hungary after passing through another country where they were not persecuted. That would disqualify many of those who make long journeys through multiple countries before they reach the EU.

The U.N.’s high commissioner for refugees warned that the legislation could “further inflame tense public discourse and rising xenophobic attitudes.”

And on Tuesday, Soros said in a speech at the European Council on Foreign Relations in London that Orban is “now posing as the defender of his version of a Christian Europe that is challenging the values on which the European Union was founded.”

This week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto in Washington. State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said Pompeo “underscored the importance of maintaining a vibrant civil society.”

Soros-Funded Group Launches App to Help Illegal Aliens Avoid Feds

An open borders group that has benefitted from U.S. taxpayer dollars and is funded by leftwing billionaire George Soros launched a smartphone application to help illegal immigrants avoid federal authorities. The app, Notifica(Notify), is described in a Laredo, Texas news article as a tool to protect immigrants living in the U.S. illegally by utilizing high tech and online social communications. With the click of a button, illegal aliens can alert family, friends and attorneys of encounters with federal authorities. “Immigration agents knocking at the door?” the news story asks. “Now, there’s an app for that, too.”

The group behind the app is called United We Dream, which describes itself as the country’s largest immigrant youth-led community. The nonprofit has more than 400,000 members nationwide and claims to “embrace the common struggle of all people of color and stand up against racism, colonialism, colorism, and xenophobia.” Among its key projects is winning protections and rights for illegal immigrants, defending against deportation, obtaining education for illegal immigrants and acquiring “justice and liberation” for undocumented LGBT “immigrants and allies.” Illegal aliens encounter lots of discrimination, which creates a lot of fear, according to United We Dream. “We empower people to develop their leadership, their organizing skills, and to develop our own campaigns to fight for justice and dignity for immigrants and all people,” United We Dream states on its website, adding that this is achieved through immigrant youth-led campaigns at the local, state, and federal level.

United We Dream started as a project of the National Immigration Law Center (NILC), according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. Between 2008 and 2010, NILC received $206,453 in U.S. government grants, the records show. The project funded was for “immigration-related employment discrimination public education.” Headquartered in Los Angeles, NILC was established in 1979 and is dedicated to “defending and advancing the rights of immigrants with low income.” The organization, which also has offices in Washington D.C. and Berkeley, California claims to have played a leadership role in spearheading Barack Obama’s amnesty program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which has shielded hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens from deportation. “Ultimately, NILC’s goals are centered on promoting the full integration of all immigrants into U.S. society,” according to its website.

Both the NILC and its offshoot, United We Dream, get big bucks from Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF). In fact, both nonprofits list OSF as a key financial backer. In the United States Soros groups have pushed a radical agenda that includes promoting an open border with Mexico and fighting immigration enforcement efforts, fomenting racial disharmony by funding anti-capitalist black separationist organizations, financing the Black Lives Matter movement and other groups involved in the Ferguson Missouri riots, weakening the integrity of the nation’s electoral systems, opposing U.S. counterterrorism efforts and eroding 2nd Amendment protections. OSF has also funded a liberal think-tank headed by former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and the scandal-ridden activist group Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), so corrupt that Congress banned it from receiving federal funding.

Incredibly, the U.S. government uses taxpayer dollars to support Soros’ radical globalist agenda abroad. As part of an ongoing investigation, Judicial Watch has exposed several collaborative efforts between Uncle Sam and Soros in other countries. Just last week Judicial Watch published a special investigative report that exposes in detail the connection between U.S.-funded entities and Soros’ OSF to further the Hungarian philanthropist’s efforts in Guatemala. The goal is to advance a radical globalist agenda through “lawfare” and political subversion, the report shows. Much like in the United States, OSF programs in Guatemala include funding liberal media outlets, supporting global politicians, advocating for open borders, fomenting public discord and influencing academic institutions.

Last year Judicial Watch exposed a joint effort between the U.S. government and Soros to destabilize the democratically elected, center-right government in Macedonia. Records obtained by Judicial Watch in that investigation show that the U.S. Ambassador to Macedonia worked behind the scenes with OSF to funnel large sums of American dollars for the cause, constituting an interference of the U.S. Ambassador in domestic political affairs in violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The cash—about $5 million—flowed through the State Department and USAID.
