Poll: Two Thirds Of Democrats Refuse To Believe No Collusion

A Washington Post poll has revealed that almost two thirds of registered Democrats are refusing to believe the findings of the Mueller report, that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

The survey, released on Saturday, found that only 31 percent of Democrats accept Mueller’s conclusion that there was no evidence that “members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

A majority of 62 percent rejected the findings, despite the fact that the investigation was ongoing for over two years.

Even some Republicans are not convinced, with 18 percent saying they reject the collusion conclusion. 79 percent of Republicans say they accept the report’s conclusion.

The poll noted a split of 52-40 percent in favor of accepting Mueller’s conclusion among Independents.

The findings cement the fact that Democrats and Trump opposition fanatics continue to refuse to accept that the President won the election by fair means.

On Sunday, the President tweeted that it is important to document how the “fraudulent investigation of the No Collusion, No Obstruction Trump Campaign began.”

“This Hoax should never be allowed to happen to another President or Administration again!” Trump urged

Poll: 63% Say Govt Shutdown Has Had No Impact On Them At All

Though our political class is whining incessantly about the partial government shutdown, the overwhelming majority of Americans say the shutdown has had zero effect on their lives.

From 13 News Now:

[A] new Rasmussen Reports poll of 1,000 likely voters shows that only nine percent say the shutdown has had a major impact on their personal lives. Sixty-three percent say the shutdown has had no impact at all on them.

I’d say odds are most of the 9 percent who say it’s had “a major impact on their personal lives” would say it has had a major positive impact!

The sun is shining and the birds are chirping!

There is absolutely no reason Trump or the GOP should cave on the demand for a measly $5 billion for a wall. They should be asking for the full $25 billion.

Final Gallup Poll: Majority of Americans Think Republicans Will Retain the House

Despite almost every poll predicting that Democrats will win the House today, a final Gallup survey finds that the majority of Americans believe Republicans will retain control of Congress.

Respondents were asked, “Regardless of how you, yourself, plan to vote, which party do you think will win control of the U.S. House of Representatives in the congressional elections this fall?”

According to the results, 50% of Americans think Republicans will retain control of the House, compared to 44% who think Democrats will win enough seats to gain victory.

Every single prediction Americans have made over the last 10 such midterm election years between 1946 and 2014 has come true.

The poll also found that 61% of Americans think Republicans will retain the Senate compared to 33% who think Democrats will take control.

As we reported yesterday, the Real Clear Politics average of polls has Democrats 7.3 points ahead in the race for Congress, however, a shock Rasmussen poll contradicted all others by putting Republicans one point ahead.

This is drastically different to other polls, such as one published by CNN, which has Democrats 13 points ahead

Poll: 61% Of Big Tech Employees Say Ban Alex Jones

Big Tech employees overwhelmingly want to see the censorship of Alex Jones expanded, according to a new survey.

A recent survey from big tech workplace discussion app Blind shows that 61 percent of employees at major tech firms agree that Twitter should join the rest of Silicon Valley in blacklisting Infowars host Alex Jones. The notable exception is Twitter employees themselves.

The workplace discussion app Blind allows employees of major tech firms to sign up to anonymously discuss issues at their workplace, provided they sign up with an email address at the company they claim to work for. According to the app’s page in the iOS app store, it has registered thousands of employees from multiple tech firms: “37,000 Microsoft, 6,500 Uber, 21,000 Amazon employees and more from Google, Facebook, Airbnb, and others”

Blind regularly polls its users on a variety of topics, some as mundane as salary and benefits, others include the James Damore Google memo case and allegations of sexual harassment at Uber. Now the app has polled tech workers on their opinion of the banning of Infowars host Alex Jones with a poll titled ” Should Twitter ban Alex Jones from its platform?” 5,137 Blind users took part in the survey in late August.

Of those 5,137 users, 61.18 percent stated that they believed the InfoWars host should be blacklisted from Twitter’s online platform. Apple had the highest percentage of employees calling for the censoring of Jones at almost 72 percent. All of the tech firms represented had more than 50 percent of employees agreeing that Jones should be blacklisted, with the notable exception of Twitter itself, with just 21 percent of its employees agreeing with Jones being kicked off their employer’s platform.

Poll: Most Americans now support GOP tax law

The Republican tax cut law, which once appeared overwhelmingly unpopular, is now supported by a narrow majority of Americans, according to a Survey Monkey poll published in the NY Times.

  • Support is at 51% overall (up from 37% in December), 89% among Republicans and 19% among Democrats.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

The House today will vote on a two-year budget deal the Senate passed yesterday to increase government spending and avert another shutdown.

Voters last summer favored major spending cuts but were losing confidence that those cuts were coming.

President Trump this week is reviewing for release a Democratic House Intelligence Committee memo answering a similar Republican document released last week detailing improprieties in FISA surveillance warrant requests during the last presidential election.

Most voters are now unwilling to give the FBI a pass when it comes to playing politics in the 2016 election. But while 42% of Likely U.S. Voters say Russia is more likely than the FBI to have meddled in that presidential race, 34% now think the FBI is the likelier culprit.

Even before last Friday’s release of the House Intelligence Committee Republican memo, 49% said a special prosecutor is needed to see if the FBI has been playing politics.

Did senior U.S. law enforcement officers violate the law in an attempt to block the Trump presidency? We’ll tell you at 10:30 what voters say.
