Hillary May Have To Run Or Face Prison

Hillary Clinton wants you to know that she can still endanger national security like nobody’s business. It’s what she does.

After Joe Biden dropped in the race. His name alone rocketed him to the pole position. But sleepy Joe is stumbling, first an opener where he had trouble stringing a sentence together. And the recent remark that he spoke with Margaret Thatcher even though Attila the Hen died six years ago.

And now, is it possible that Hillary is thinking of jumping in? It may be the only card she has if the real perpetrators behind the Russian collusion delusion face the music.

In fact Obama was so upset with Hillary’s unexpected defeat in 2016, the Washington Examiner reports ” …. a recently released update to New York Times Chief White House Correspondent Peter Baker’s book Obama: The Call of History, which said former President Barack Obama blamed Clinton for Trump’s 2016 victory, seeing it as a “personal insult,” and pinned it specifically on his former secretary of state’s “scripted, soulless campaign.” And now

Much to the Democrats dismay or ignorance, Lindsay Graham “enthusiastically” rallied other GOP members to revisit whether Obama officials illegally surveilled then candidate Trump to influence Hillary’s 2016 campaign during the Senate’s recent hearing with Attorney General Barr. As McClatchy reported ” By the hearing’s conclusion, they had collectively succeeded in putting Barr on the record confirming he had concerns about the conduct of some Obama administration officials and that he had a team looking into the decision to issue the surveillance warrant.”

And Judicial Watch recently dropped this bombshell “A senior FBI official admitted in writing and under oath that the agency found Clinton email records in the Obama White House – specifically the Executive Office of the President.
U.S District Court Judge Royce Lamberth ordered Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers, and Clinton aides, as well as then assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division Bill Priestap, to be deposed or answer writer questions under oath. The court ruled that the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

We haven’t even seen a warrant yet and you can already hear the Obama Administration’s knees knocking.

Theresa May warns Brexit will be lost after her own top lawyer torpedoes deal

Last night in Strasbourg, the PM worked until midnight out last-minute tweaks to the Irish backstop plan intended to allow the UK to exit European control.

In a last-ditch bid to stave off Commons humiliation, an exhausted-sounding Mrs May told MPs today: “If this vote is not passed tonight, if this deal is not passed, Brexit may be lost.

“Support this deal, in which case we leave the European Union with a deal. Or risk No Deal, or no Brexit. These are the options.

“Members across this house should ask themselves if they want to make the perfect the enemy of the good.”

The Prime Minister showed the strain she is under as she croaked her way through an hour-long speech, losing her voice in an echo of her disastrous 2107 conference speech.

This morning the PM’s chief legal adviser torpedoed her chances of winning over rebel MPs – warning that the “risk remains unchanged” of the backstop lasting indefinitely if trade talks break down.

Press access may be curbed at hearing on Epstein sex abuse

court hearing on whether to unseal sensitive documents involving the alleged sex trafficking of underage girls by Palm Beach multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein — and the possible involvement of his influential friends — will play out in a New York City courtroom next week.

But it may happen behind closed doors, with the news media and public barred — at least in part.

An attorney for lawyer Alan Dershowitz wrote a letter to the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Tuesday, asking whether the media should be excluded from the proceeding because his oral arguments on behalf of his client could contain sensitive information that has been under seal.

The appeals court had not responded to his concern as of Friday, but if the hearing is closed during his lawyer’s argument, it would represent the latest in a long history of successful efforts to keep details of Epstein’s sex crimes sealed.

Germany: Migrants ‘may have fuelled violent crime rise’

Migrants may be responsible for most of a recent rise in violent crime in Germany, research commissioned by the government suggests.

The study used data from Lower Saxony, a state where more than 90% of the rise was attributed to young male migrants.

The researchers say the findings are not surprising because many migrants who arrived in Germany in recent years are single males aged 14-30.

This group is most likely to commit crime, irrespective of nationality.

The researchers also said that migrants were twice as likely to be reported to police for alleged violent crimes as German nationals.

The report comes as Chancellor Angela Merkel’s centre-right CDU/CSU prepares for coalition talks with the centre-left SPD.

Both groups were seen as being hurt by their apparently liberal migration policies in September’s election.

What figures did the report use?

The report used statistics from Lower Saxony – regarded as an average state – where police saw an increase of 10.4% in reported violent crimes in 2015 and 2016.

Based on figures from the state’s interior ministry, which keeps a separate record of alleged crimes by migrants, the report suggested that 92.1% of this increase was attributable to migrants.

Lower Saxony has seen a significant increase in arrivals of migrants in recent years.

However, the researchers also said that a third of all victims of violent crimes by migrants were other migrants.

What conclusions did the report reach?

The researchers said that the best chance of reducing violent crime among migrants was to offer more help with integration through language courses, sport and apprenticeships.

But it said that many male migrants fell into the 14-30 age category, the most likely to commit violent crime.

The lack of women and families among the migrants also meant that those young men were deprived of a “violence-preventing, civilising force”, the study said.

Money May Be Motivating Doctors To Do More C-Sections

Obstetricians perform more cesarean sections when there are financial incentives to do so, according to a new study that explores links between economic incentives and medical decision-making during childbirth.

About 1 in 3 babies born today is delivered via C-section, compared to 1 in 5 babies delivered via the surgical procedure in 1996. During the same time period, the annual medical costs of childbirth in the U.S. have grown by $3 billion annually. There are significant variations in the rate of cesarean deliveries in different parts of the country — in Louisiana, for example, the C-section rate is nearly twice as high as in Alaska.

Obstetricians in many medical settings are paid more for C-sections. In a new working paper published by the National Bureau of Economic Research, health care economists Erin Johnsonand M. Marit Rehavi calculated that doctors might make a few hundred dollars more for a C-section compared to a vaginal delivery, and a hospital might make a few thousand dollars more.

Strategist: I expect a ‘very rough’ 2019 that may see US stocks tank 20 percent

U.S. markets, which have already taken a beating this month, could fall as much as 20 percent next year, according to a trading strategist.

Speaking with CNBC on Wednesday, Todd Horwitz, chief strategist at investment advisor Bubba Trading, predicted that next year is going to be “very rough.” For 2018, major indexes in America such as the Nasdaq and S&P 500 have so far fallen more than 10 percent.

“I do think we’re going into a recession, I think that next year is going to be a very rough year for markets and I can see another 10 to 15 to 20 percent, and a sell-off,” Horwitz said.

“I think we’re entering very rough times because of all these things that are going on, because of the weakening economy,” he said.

One of the big problems is debt, Horwitz told CNBC’s Nancy Hungerford: “We’ve got way too much debt in this country.”

Total corporate debt in America had swelled to nearly $9.1 trillion halfway through 2018, according to Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association data.

Horwitz said U.S. banks are “probably over-leveraged once again.”

Blackwater signals it may get back in business as Trump mulls Afghanistan troop drawdown

A controversial U.S. private security firm signaled Friday it is slated to return to business, spurring questions of whether President Trump will seek to privatize the ongoing war in Afghanistan.

Blackwater took out a full-page ad in the latest edition of Recoil magazine with the message: “We are coming,” the Military Times reported on Friday. The ad comes a day after Defense Secretary Jim Mattis announced he would resign from his post and word emerged that President Trump will draw down troops in Afghanistan.

Former founder Erik Prince sold the company in 2010, but has maintained communications with Trump and reportedly pressed him to employ private contractors in Afghanistan, where the U.S. is said to be preparing to withdraw nearly 7,000 troops.

Prince — who has also been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller as part of his investigation into whether Trump colluded with the Russians during the 2016 election — does not have any known relations to the Constellis Group, the new name put on the company after it was purchased by Apollo Holdings Group. The firm reportedly shelved plans earlier this year to try to sell the Constellis Group.

Black hole donuts may actually look more like dynamic fountains

Where once there were day-old donuts, now there may be ring-shaped fountains.

New astronomical observations are rewriting scientists’ ideas of what the area around a black hole looks like, and the evidence seems to lean heavily away from something resembling the morning delicacy too closely.

Scientists believe that all large galaxies have a supermassive black hole at their center, pulling in everything around them with tremendous gravitational sway. Before material falls into a black hole, it builds up into a toroidal structure that looks something like a cosmic donut, called the torus.

Senator: Stingrays May Interfere with 911 Calls

A U.S. senator has revealed that cell-site simulators, cell phone surveillance devices commonly referred to as “Stingrays,” may interfere with 911 calls.

In a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) said that the Harris Corporation, a Florida-based manufacturer of cell phone spying technology, was unable to confirm that its products did not affect a caller’s ability to reach emergency services.

Also known as IMSI-catchers, the devices, regularly used by law enforcement, intercept cell phone communications by mimicking a cell tower.

“[W]hile the company claims its cell-site simulators include a feature that detects and permits the delivery of emergency calls to 9-1-1, its officials admitted to my office that this feature has not been independently tested as part of the Federal Communication Commission’s certification process, nor were they able to confirm this feature is capable of detecting and passing-through 9-1-1 emergency communications made by people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech disabled using Real-Time Text technology,” Wyden wrote.

The senator, who has challenged the federal government on numerous issues in regards to digital surveillance, went on to question whether a Stingray’s capabilities violate U.S. law.

“Harris’ acknowledgment that its cell-site simulators totally disrupt a target telephone’s communications raise serious questions including whether the disruption fails the reasonableness requirements of the Fourth Amendment or violates provisions of the Communications Act of 1934,” Wyden said. “However, the government’s warrant applications focus almost entirely on the Fourth Amendment question of whether there is probable cause supporting the warrant and largely gloss over other important issues.”

Wyden further asks the Department of Justice to investigate and answer numerous questions related to whether cell-site simulators are operating legally.

“The government has a duty of candor to describe relevant information when presenting a warrant application,” Wyden sayd. “DOJ knows far more about cell-site simulators than the courts. It has an obligation to be candid, forthright, and to fully disclose to courts the true impact of this surveillance technology.”

Wyden has requested the Department of Justice respond to his questions by September 14.
