Who will win the Super Bowl according to Siri, Google and Alexa

The Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots face off in Super Bowl LIII, which kicks off on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.

For fun, I asked Apple‘s Siri, GoogleAssistant, Amazon Alexa and MicrosoftCortana who will win.

The responses are pretty funny, and while the Patriots are favored, at least one, Google, picks the underdog.

Here’s what each digital assistant said:

Siri, who will win the Super Bowl?

“The odds favor the Patriots over the Rams by 2.5 points.”

Alexa, who will win the Super Bowl?

“As much as I want the Rams to win, you can never count out the New England Patriots. My prediction? The Patriots will be taking home the Vince Lombardi trophy. And Tom Brady will need to use his other hand to take home that sixth Super Bowl ring.”

Cortana, who will win the Super Bowl?

“On Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time. The Patriots face the Rams in the Super Bowl. My sources are decidedly favoring the Patriots.”

Google, who will win the Super Bowl?

Google has a few responses.

“I like teams associated with animals, so I’ll take the Rams. But the Patriots do have the GOAT in Tom Brady, so I guess we’ll see what happens.” Editor’s Note: GOAT is short for “greatest of all time.”

“The Patriots are favored to win, and I can’t help but root for the underdog, so I’ll be cheering for the Rams.”

“The Rams are the only pro football franchise to win championships in 3 different cities: Cleveland, Los Angeles and St. Louis. It’s hard not to root for a team that has brought joy to so many places.”

North Korea’s Kim Jong Un visits China, according to state media

Beijing has traditionally been the closest ally of secretive North Korea, but ties have been frayed by North Korea’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and China’s backing of tough U.N. sanctions in response.

Xinhua cited Kim as telling Xi that the situation on the Korean peninsula is starting to improve because North Korea has taken the initiative to ease tensions and put forward proposals for peace talks.

“It is our consistent stand to be committed to denuclearisation on the peninsula, in accordance with the will of late President Kim Il Sung and late General Secretary Kim Jong Il,” Kim Jong Un said, according to Xinhua.

North Korea is willing to talk with the United States and hold a summit between the two countries, he said.

“The issue of denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula can be resolved, if South Korea and the United States respond to our efforts with goodwill, create an atmosphere of peace and stability while taking progressive and synchronous measures for the realization of peace,” Kim said.

Chinese state news outlets had photos of Xi and Kim together:

Voters Call for Special Prosecutor to Investigate FBI

Voters suspect the FBI is hiding something and think a special prosecutor is needed to see if the nation’s top cops have been playing politics.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters believe a special prosecutor should be named to investigate whether senior FBI officials handled the investigation of Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump in a legal and unbiased fashion. Thirty-one percent (31%) disagree, but a sizable 19% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Evidence suggests a massive scandal is brewing at the FBI

More support for this view involves the FBI’s use of the Russian dossier on Trump that was paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. It is almost certain that the FBI used the dossier to get FISA court warrants to spy on Trump associates, meaning it used the opposition research of the party in power to convince a court to let it spy on the candidate of the other party — likely without telling the court of the dossier’s political link.

Even worse, there is growing reason to believe someone in President Barack Obama’s administration turned over classified information about Trump to the Clinton campaign.

Sessions announces DOJ probe of missing FBI text messages

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday announced the Justice Department will investigate missing text messages sent between two FBI agents critical of President Trump, joining the chorus of Republican lawmakers who are eager to recover the exchange.

GOP officials have seized on the messages as evidence of FBI bias against Trump in the probes into Russian election meddling and Hillary Clinton‘s use of a private email server while secretary of State.

“We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement.
