Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

The House today will vote on a two-year budget deal the Senate passed yesterday to increase government spending and avert another shutdown.

Voters last summer favored major spending cuts but were losing confidence that those cuts were coming.

President Trump this week is reviewing for release a Democratic House Intelligence Committee memo answering a similar Republican document released last week detailing improprieties in FISA surveillance warrant requests during the last presidential election.

Most voters are now unwilling to give the FBI a pass when it comes to playing politics in the 2016 election. But while 42% of Likely U.S. Voters say Russia is more likely than the FBI to have meddled in that presidential race, 34% now think the FBI is the likelier culprit.

Even before last Friday’s release of the House Intelligence Committee Republican memo, 49% said a special prosecutor is needed to see if the FBI has been playing politics.

Did senior U.S. law enforcement officers violate the law in an attempt to block the Trump presidency? We’ll tell you at 10:30 what voters say.
