Black Death fears sweep Madagascar again
Authorities had seemingly contained the disease, which can spread by coughing, sneezing, spitting and through contact with other fluids.
But panic has spread through the Analamanga region after a fresh suspected case was reported in the town of Ankazobe.
A cook at a local school was struck down by the mystery bug last week, according to La Verite.
The victim was suffering from symptoms consistent with the illness, forcing the school to close its doors for two days for the building to be disinfected, it was reported.
